The Center for Corrective Myotherapy is delighted to be a participant in the only Alternative Health Clinic in the Maya Riviera. “Angel Notion” located in Nic te Ha, Playa del Carmen, is a non-profit facility designed to help all those who walk through the door. Beginning in June of 2004, every Wednesday Mauro and Ginny volunteer their time to the clinic. Mauro sees up to 10 patients each Wednesday and Ginny works on specific projects, including coordinating alternative health practitioners visiting from other parts of the world wanting to participate as volunteers at the clinic. The clinic is seeking funding to be able to offer practitioners a more permanent status. The Center for Corrective Myotherapy is exploring the possibility of developing its teaching program in Nic te ha, Playa del Carmen.

Through the clinic we have become involved with the Michigan State University's annual medical mission. A team of medical professionals, osteopathic physicians, and manual medicine practitioners volunteer their services to those in need in various Mexican cities during their spring break vacation.

The Center for Corrective Myotherapy has also established a scholarship program in Puerto Morelos so that the fortunate can help the less fortunate by sponsoring treatments for them.
